We help Queensland businesses save energy, money, and the environment through auditing, monitoring, and installation of energy efficient equipment.
We are passionate about helping you reduce your energy usage whilst saving money and the environment. Energy Engineers partners with clients to improve their energy efficiency and move towards net zero.
We do this through energy auditing, the installation of energy efficient technologies and the implementation of ongoing strategies to continually improve efficiency.
We believe that QLD business can lead the way globally when it comes to taking responsibility (and action) for their environmental impact. We’re here to help them achieve this through professional, reliable, and affordable advisory.
We can provide ongoing support to Queensland SMEs by implementing the energy monitoring tools required to maintain and validate energy efficiency over the long term. Our process ensures your energy consumption transformation is not just ‘set and forget’.
Once an audit is undertaken we can create an action plan to implement the required equipment, asset and process changes. We pride ourselves on not only providing advice, but also the installation and servicing required to complete the job. Whether it’s the installation of EV car chargers, LED lighting, variable speed drives, or Solar (and more) – we can do it!
The first step in effective management of energy usage is to undertake an audit. In Australia there are specific standards that audits need to meet. We have a thorough understanding of auditing requirements and proven experience in solving energy issues.
We pride ourselves on offering bespoke solutions to fit your unique business needs, unlike many other energy consultants that only offer the limited product that they sell. We offer a holistic set of services from audits right through to monitoring and anything in between allowing us to partner with you regardless of where you are on your energy efficiency journey.
This is a basic overview of your company’s energy consumption. This can start with comparing your energy usage to other similar companies like yourself and, may include looking for some low hanging fruit. A Level 1 audit will provide broader energy savings estimates and solutions for glaring issues. This helps you understand the quick wins on offer for your organisation.
This audit may or may not require a site visit or some additional measurements to solve potential problems found.
These audits are useful for smaller businesses looking to take their first step towards lowering their energy usage.
We recommend audits of this level as a minimum for businesses serious about managing their energy consumption. Level 2 audits are more comprehensive – undertaking detailed data analysis with special instruments, assessing energy usage and operating conditions at your site(s).
As well as quantifying potential energy usage savings, making a business case based on sound economic metrics is an integral component to a level 2 audit. These audits will show costs to achieve the recommended opportunities before a project starts.
Effectively providing a roadmap to making a significant impact on energy consumption, and possibly eradicating peak demand charges and/or solving any lingering energy issues.
These audits would require at least a site visit by one of our team members that are Certified Energy Managers (CEM).
In Level 3 audits we hone in on the efficiency of specialist assets or subsystems. This is of particular use to larger businesses, organisations with specialist equipment, and those who have already implemented the actions from a Level 2 audit.
Utilising asset-specific monitoring equipment we are able to most accurately record energy efficiency (and consumption) to quantify opportunities.
Vincent van Kampen, Co-Founder of Energy Engineers, is an individual member of the Association of Energy Engineers and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
We have a wide range of tools to support your energy efficiency goals. In addition to our auditing services, we are well-equipped to install practical solutions for QLD businesses.
EV Car Chargers
LED Lighting
Bill & Energy Monitoring
